دکتر علی صادقی‌تبار با اشاره به بالا رفتن سن ازدواج و تأثیر منفی آن بر باروری اظهار کرد: زنان بعد از 35سالگی به‌طور فزاینده‌ای توان باروری خود را از دست می‌دهند بنابراین اگر زوجی تا قبل از 35سالگی ازدواج می‌کنند هرچه سریع‌تر نسبت به باروری اقدام کنند و اگر بعد از 35سالگی ازدواج می‌کنند باید اطلاع داشته باشند که در این سن، توان باروری به‌شدت کاهش می‌یابد بنابراین باید زوجین مطالعه و آگاهی نسبت به باروری و تولید مثل داشته باشند و در صورت ازدواج کردن در سنین بالا در اسرع وقت اقدام به باروری کنند.
وی با بیان این‌که ممکن است افرادی که در سنین بالا ازدواج و اقدام به بارداری می‌کنند به درمان‌های باروری احتیاج پیدا کنند، ادامه داد: تا سن 42سالگی درمان‌های باروری برای خود فرد انجام می‌شود و تا سن 49سالگی می‌توانیم از درمان‌های جایگزین برای باروری زوجین استفاده و خدمات درمانی ارائه کنیم.
دکتر صادقی‌تبار درباره هزینه‌های انجام روش‌های درمانی ناباروری متذکر شد: درمان ناباروری سه رکن اساسی دارد که شامل دارو، هزینه‌های تشخیصی و درمان‌های جراحی است؛ ممکن است مشکل ناباروری برای آقا و خانم به‌طور همزمان وجود داشته باشد و نیاز به انجام جراحی‌هایی مانند واریکوسل برای آقایان نیز باشد؛ به همین دلیل نمی‌توان به‌طور دقیق بیان کرد که هزینه درمان ناباروری برای هر زوج چقدر است و این هزینه بستگی به خدماتی دارد که به این افراد ارائه می‌شود اما انجام IVF در 80 درصد موارد بین 10 تا 15 میلیون تومان هزینه در بر دارد.
